Ingredients

Ingredients for Crocodile Meat
  •  500 grams crocodile fillet (available at speciality meat shops or online)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or coriander) for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Prepare Meat

Step 1: First of all, we have to prepare the meat. Take fresh crocodile meat, and if the meat is frozen, then peel it well. And dry it well with a paper towel so that the excess water is drained out, and the meat marinates well

Marinate Meat

Step 2: The next step is to marinate the meat well. For that, take a bowl, mix olive oil, grated garlic, lemon juice, ginger, salt and pepper in it and apply it well on the meat. Leave the meat to marinate for 30 minutes, and if you want a strong flavour, then you can keep it for longer

Preheat Oven

Step 3: Before the next step, preheat the grill pan on medium temperature and apply olive oil so that the meat does not stick and cooks well

Cook Crocodile Meat

Step 4: As soon as the pan gets hot, place the crocodile meat in it and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on both sides. Cook till the meat turns white in colour, just like chicken breast. And yes, remember not to overcook it carefully, as crocodile meat becomes very hard after overcooking

Garnish & Serve

Step 5: As soon as the meat is cooked, remove it from the pan and let it cool for a while. Garnish it on a plate with any herbs you like or with lemon wedges
