- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 100 grams unsalted butter (cold and diced)
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon cold water
For the cheese filling
- 200 grams cream cheese (softened)
- 50 grams mascarpone cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Step 1: Take a bowl and mix the flour, sugar, and salt

Step 2: Add cold, diced butter into the flour and rub it with your fingers until the whole mixture looks like breadcrumbs
Step 3: Add egg yolk and water into the mixture and make a dough out of it
Step 4: Take the dough and wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill it in the fridge for about 30 minutes

Step 5: Take the dough out of the fridge, roll it out, and press it into the tart moulds, or you can use muffin tins
Step 6: After moulding the dough into an atrayt mould, prick the base with a fork and bake it at 180° C for about 10 to 12 minutes
For the Filling

Step 1: Take another bowl and beat the cream and cheese until they become smooth.
Step 2: Then add sugar, lemon juice, vanilla essence, and heavy cream into the mixture and mix them.
Step 3: Pour the filling gently into the prebaked tart shells.
Step 4: After filling, bake them at 180°C for 10 minutes until the tops turn light golden.
Step 5: Let them cool and enjoy them as a tempting dessert.
