Ingredients

- 2 cups raw macadamia nuts (shelled)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
- 1 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
- Herbs or spices of your choice (for extra flavour, like rosemary, chilli powder, or honey)

Step 1: The first step is to preheat the oven to 180° C. This temperature is perfect for the aroma of the nuts

Step 2: Take a bowl and place raw nuts into it. Drizzle olive oil or melted butter over it so each nut is lightly coated. Add salt and herbs according to your choice

Step 3 : Take a baking tray and arrange all the nuts evenly with parchment paper

Step 4 : Place the baking tray in the oven and roast the nuts for 10 to 15 minutes until they turn golden brown. Also, stir twice or thrice during roasting to make sure they don’t get burned

Step 5 : After roasting, let the nuts cool completely and enjoy them with your favourite sauce or dips
